After nearly a decade of serving as a member-at-large on the board of directors for Cold Tofu Improv, a not-for-profit group dedicated to spreading cultural education and awareness through laughter, I have taken up the charge of being a Co-President!
Entertainment may not be in my blood but supporting the arts certainly is! I am proud to be in a position to support an organization that not only promotes cultural education and awareness, it further supports the arts—specifically Asian-Americans in the arts and field of entertainment. In a community where the culture is to remain meek and unassuming I feel proud that an organization such as this exists that gives the Asian community a voice. The workshops aren’t just designed for aspiring actors or entertainers,… they are designed to encourage confidence in public speaking and communication.
Lending my creative assistance to the group is of course a pleasure. Please join me in the support of Cold Tofu!
