print | brochure, flyer or both?

Project | Brochure/Mailer
Client | Arbonne Independent Consultant

The fun part about this job is designing for every budget and purpose in mind. This client wanted a marketing piece that could be displayed in the waiting room of her private practice. She also wanted a marketing piece she could mail out to potential clients.  I wanted to create a piece that could serve both purposes. To do this the piece had to look good flat as well as folded in a standard size 10 envelope. Because she wasn’t sure if she anticipated printing the flyer on her desktop printer, I came up with a fun “finishing” solution to give this budget piece a polished and professional look that would look good in a flat display, brochure holder or in a size 10 business envelope.

I cut down the finished size of the marketing piece to 8×10 and bled out the image on the .5″ that would be cut off of a standard 8.5 x 11 sheet. Then I did something sneaky. I matched up the front image with the back when folded—and the results help achieve the look of a full-bleed professionally printed document. Shhhh, I won’t tell if you don’t.
